FAQ
1. Can Adults register under Tertiary Accommodation (i.e. sleeping with mattress)?
No. The mattress option is only for tertiary, youth and kids and the cost is subsidized. The church has decided to provide financial assistance from the church budget to these categories.
If the adults or any category require further financial assistance, please try to address through your homogeneous group. If you still cannot address the issue, please let the convention committee know through your registration form before 13th July. The committee will try their very best to help out financially.
2. Do we have part-time package?
No. We hope everyone can join the entire convention because it is a long weekend for most people.
3. For PKC, even if the parents stay in the hotel, can we just register the kids without accommodation (mattress)?
You can do so for kids from age 4-6 years old only. However, you need to provide breakfast for your kids.
If your kids are above 6 years old (Primary 1 in school), you need to get the accommodation package. This package includes breakfast, 1 dinner, PKC fees and mattress.
4. For adults, we have concerned about rooming arrangements. We are not comfortable to have mattresses in our rooms.
Noted your concerns. We will arrange the room according to your personal preference.
5. What if I am from Ipoh and I would like to stay at home?
You just need to pay the registration fees. The registration fees included one welcoming buffet dinner.
6. I am not clear with the family package with 2 kids and above.
We will give 50% discount to the kid’s accommodation fee (for 2nd kid and above). For example, if you are from Kuala Lumpur English church and you have 3 kids aged 9, 11 and 15, you will have to pay…
Adults = 2 x RM280
1st Kid (9 yrs old) = RM 80 (under PKC package)
2nd Kid (11 yrs old) = RM 20 + RM 30 = RM50 (under PKC package)
3rd Kid (15 yrs old) = RM 60 + RM 45 = RM105 (under youth package)
Total for entire family is RM795 (Total savings is RM75)
